Welcome to Voice FX Editor — the ultimate real-time voice changer and audio effects app. By downloading, installing, or using Voice FX Editor ("App"), you agree to be legally bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully before using the App.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not install or use the App.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Voice FX Editor, you confirm that:
You are at least 13 years of age (or the minimum legal age in your jurisdiction).
You have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you are using the App on behalf of an organization, you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
2. Description of the App
Voice FX Editor is a mobile application that provides:
Real-time voice changing and audio effect processing.
A library of cinematic sound effects, filters, and equalizer tools.
Audio recording, playback, and export functionality.
Customizable waveform visualizers and audio animations.
Integration with third-party platforms for audio sharing (subject to those platforms' own terms).
3. License Grant
3.1 Personal, Non-Commercial License
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on devices you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial purposes.
3.2 Restrictions
You may not:
Copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App.
Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App's source code.
Remove or alter any proprietary notices, labels, or watermarks.
Use the App to build a competing product or service.
Use the App in any manner that violates applicable laws or regulations.
4. Microphone & Audio Permissions
Voice FX Editor requires access to your device's microphone to deliver core functionality. By granting microphone permission, you acknowledge and agree that:
Audio captured through the App is processed locally on your device in real time.
We do not store, transmit, or share raw microphone recordings to our servers without your explicit consent.
You are solely responsible for obtaining consent from any third party whose voice you record using the App.
Recording individuals without their knowledge or consent may violate applicable laws; you bear full legal responsibility for any such recordings.
5. User-Generated Content
5.1 Your Content
You retain ownership of all audio recordings and content you create using Voice FX Editor ("Your Content"). By using features that upload, share, or submit Your Content through the App, you grant us a limited, royalty-free license to process and display it solely to provide the service to you.
5.2 Prohibited Content
You must not create, record, or share content that:
Is defamatory, harassing, threatening, or abusive toward any individual or group.
Infringes any third party's intellectual property rights.
Impersonates any person or entity in a deceptive or harmful way.
Contains malware, harmful code, or any content designed to damage devices or systems.
Violates any applicable local, national, or international law.
We reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms and to terminate accounts of repeat offenders.
6. Advertising
Voice FX Editor is a free application supported by third-party advertisements served by ad networks such as Google AdMob. By using the App, you agree to:
The display of personalized or non-personalized ads as permitted by applicable law.
The collection of certain device identifiers by our ad partners, as described in our Privacy Policy.
7. Privacy Policy
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information — including data related to microphone access, device identifiers, crash analytics, and advertising. By using the App, you consent to the data practices described in our Privacy Policy.
8. Intellectual Property
All rights, title, and interest in and to the App — including but not limited to software, design, graphics, sound effects, UI elements, waveform animations, and the "Voice FX Editor" name and logo — are and remain the exclusive property of the developer and its licensors.
Nothing in these Terms transfers any intellectual property rights to you. The limited license granted herein does not constitute a sale of the App or any portion thereof.
9. Third-Party Services
The App integrates with third-party services, including but not limited to:
Google Firebase (analytics, remote configuration, crash reporting).
Google AdMob (advertising).
Firebase Remote Config (feature flags and splash screen configuration).
Your interactions with these services are governed by their respective terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of any third-party service providers.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
Voice FX Editor is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:
Implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
Warranty that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of harmful components.
Warranty regarding the accuracy or reliability of any content within the App.
Your use of the App is at your sole risk. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties, so the above exclusions may not apply to you.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any:
Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
Loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses.
Damages resulting from unauthorized access to or alteration of your recordings.
Damages arising from your use or inability to use the App.
Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or USD $10.00, whichever is greater.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Voice FX Editor, its developer, officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of:
Your use of the App in violation of these Terms.
Your User-Generated Content.
Your violation of any third party's rights, including intellectual property or privacy rights.
Your violation of any applicable law or regulation.
13. Modifications to the App and Terms
14.1 App Updates
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature of the App at any time without prior notice. We may release updates that change functionality, introduce new features, or alter the user interface.
14.2 Terms Updates
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the Effective Date at the top of this document and, for material changes, provide in-app notification or notify you via email. Your continued use of the App after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
14. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms. Upon termination:
Your license to use the App immediately ends.
You must delete all copies of the App from your devices.
Sections 9 (Intellectual Property), 11 (Disclaimer), 12 (Limitation of Liability), and 13 (Indemnification) shall survive termination.
15. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the App shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes may be submitted to binding arbitration or the courts of competent jurisdiction as required by applicable law.
16. Children's Privacy
Voice FX Editor is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided personal information, we will take steps to delete such information. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately.
17. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable.
18. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any other policies referenced herein, constitute the entire agreement between you and Voice FX Editor with respect to the App and supersede all prior agreements, understandings, and communications.
